I currently have a 240sx tube chassis in which i plan to put a vh41TT with z32trans. My question is whats a good plate thickness for the trans adapter keep in mind i plan to use engine plates to mount the motor as well as adapt the manual trans. I was thinking 3/8" for the front engine plate and 1/2" for the middle trans adapter plate. I was just a little nervous 1/2" would not provide enough thread engagement. Anyone have any experience in making there own trans adapter please help me out thanks in advance.
