any idea where the fluid is coming from?

Drain plug is on the bottom of the transmission..... awfully hard to miss it really. its a bolt which requires a square drive. use a 1\2 breaker bar or ratchet. the fill port is on the drivers side of the car, on the side of the transmission, hard to miss it. however the best way to add fluid is to take the shifter out (just the lever, not the entire plate) use the fill port on the side to check fluid level. the fluid should be level with the bottom of the hole. if it pours out, means you had too much. if there is no trace of fluid on your finger when "fingering" the hole, there isnt enough. got it?you might consider reading the fsm. even if you dont retain all the information verbatim, you will remember that will remember info is in it and know where to look it up.have fun and good luck
