Does anyone know where the trailer wiring plug is located?

I'd rather plug in there than splice into the taillight wiring- looks like it is probably 24 gauge wire feeding the taillights!

Thanks for your help.

mine didnt come with a trailer wiring plug. I had to splice mine into the tail light. wires look like normal gauge to me.... no problems whatsoever.

No built-in trailer plug on my '03.

I just bought a $30 kit which came with a bunch of harnesses that split power between the taillights and trailer lights. Easy as pie to install, just unplug the harnesses for the taillights, plug them into the kit's terminals, and voila.

+1 on the aftermarket harness. I just installed one on my '98 a few weeks ago. I think it took all of 15 minutes, and I was working slow.
