Trailer Hitch Wiring Harness

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Finally,

I would first like to apologize if someone has posted this already.

Since the EX was new and I have been here I have received a countless number of emails from owners all over the place about trailer light wiring harness connections. It appears that the market has answered your calls for a product to support the hitch that was already available.

I cannot speak for the parts but I hope this helps meet the needs some of you all had a while back.

Steve,
Do you know on what side of the Ex both right & left turn signals wires are available to tap into? I remember on my Subaru it was on the left side.

Steve, have you installed a harness? I'll appreciate if you can give me more details and tips?

I also need a trailer hitch for my EX35 to add a bicycle rack. I ordered one from U-Haul and upon receipt, was told by the U-Haul installer that it was manufactured incorrectly and could not be installed. Has anyone else used U-Haul and had or not had a problem with their hitc for the EX35?

Doesn't using the EX for towing void the warranty?

I will will not be towing anything other than a bike rack with 2 bicycles. I can't imagine that towing would void a warranty. Then again, I'd better inquire.

Hi, I'm new to the forum, and a little late to the trailer wiring party. I looked at all the PDF info for accessing the rear lights to connect the harness. Really? It takes that much effort to get at the tail lights to change a bulb? Or is there an easier way? I have a 2009 EX AWD with Nav and Cameras and just installed the Curt hitch. I ordered it with the powered converter and have spent more time trying to figure out connection points than it took to install the hitch. Has someone done this successfully? Can you tell me how? You would think the adapter from a G or the FX would work.

thanks much.

I've gave up the idea till it becomes a higher priority for me since I couldn't find reliable and easy instructions so I still don't have the harness installed. I'd second alphadug request
