Trailer hitch

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I had a trailer hitch installed by U-Haul on my 2012 EX35 AWD. It caused horrible muffler noise and caused the car to vibrate. They said it was a very tight space and tried to put some take between the hitch and the muffler. That helped a bit but didn't remedy the problem. I was worried about long-term damage since mufflers need to move so I had them take it off. They there away the hanging brackets ($80) and refuse to reimburse me for labor for a job that resulted in no useable hitch on my car. While I fight with U-Haul, I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a hitch installed and with what result?

Thanks, Walter
