Trailer hitch kit?

Does anyone know of any companies out there that sell a trailer hitch kit? U-Haul wants $300, and I have seen a few $100 kits out there on the net, but have not found anything for the J30.

I would suggest installing a tranny cooler if your going to tow with the J30.

I got a question about the tranny cooler, wouldn't towing a motorcycle (300 pound trailer + 400 pound motorcycle = 700lb total) be about the same as driving with 4 guys in the car (with a capacity for 5) as of weight? They dont recommend a tranny cooler for driving with 4 passengers. The J30 only has a 1000lb tow capacity. Just wanted to bounce this off the forum.

youll want to put a trans cooler in regardless!

Is this cooler from Summit a direct connect (3/8 inch) for the factory cooling/heating hoses going to the radiator? Last, how much A/T fluid needs to be added to compensate for addition volume?

1. Yes2. Its a small amount, i just plugged it in dry, just let the car idle for a few mins before taking off for the first time.

I guess it really depends what you are towing. Dont try haulin a boat to the lake lol.

He already mentioned what he'd be towing. I would think you'd be fine too as long as you're not taxing it out with more weight than mentioned or up big hills in overdrive.

The main tihng you dont want to do is exceed a really big tonge weight, thats whats gonna cause things to start bending.....
