fastls1.com/forums/ wrote:If you have a weak stomach :barf or can't bear the reality of looking at what happens when you mix alcohol & driving, don't look at these pics. This is from a fatal crash on the 241 toll road at Alton pkwy (Calif) on the afternoon of halloween. The driver was an 18 year who took her father's brand new Porsche out for a spin without permission after getting drunk. Two 9-1-1 calls came in about three mins. before she crashed. 1 was from her dad saying she just left the house w/ his car without permission - the other call was from a neighbor saying she peeled out at about 60+ around the corner in the neighborhood.Within five miles from her house and a three minute time frame she managed to get the car on the 241 at well over 100 MPH where she ran into an unsuspecting driver in a Honda then into one of the toll booths.

Due to the nature I will post the links & not the actual pics.

Please anyone who tends to have a few & then hop in the car (Be it Goat or anything else)Think about this;what you could do to otherswhat you could do to yourselfwhat you will do to those that love you.

MY GOD!!!

Thats almost as bad as the wreck I saw with a 24 y/o girl and a Viper. Except she was speeding THEN got hit by a drunk driver. The crash was so not pretty.

there should be a law, people cant drive things like porches and ferraris and w/e unless you have a certain amount of driving years and a decent record.

I don't have any simpathy for her. She was doing somehting dangerous. She made a concious decision to do what she did, and she had a few seconds to regret it. There are 2 things about this that upset me.

1. Taking the 911 with her.2. What parent in thier right mind puts thier 18 yr old in a 911 Carrera? I don't care how much you love your daughter, or whatever excuse there was for letting her get behind that wheel.

She deserved what she got.

The UK has a thing like that called "K plates" IIRC.

If you all read the thread it said it was her dads. She was intoxicated and took it. Drove it, wrecked it, she got "wasted".So it wasent her's

Imagine paying insurence on that thing. When I turn 16 my insurance will be over $2700 a year w/ full coverage. That thing would be crazy.

First of all, if you read the thread, you're quoting hearsay.

Bottom line. Stupid girl who thinks she can drive fast is proven wrong. Lets all take a couple lessons from this so at least this won't be a total waste.

1. Just cause you think you can do it doesn't mean you can.2. Don't do wreckless things on public roads.

How many times have you gone 100 or close to 100 mph on the freeway? Not many people deserve to die, even if they make stupid decisions

So true, very sad. Hopefully her accident will make other teenagers think twice before driving like that on a public road..

Some will, some won't. Teens have this whole, "it will never happen to me because i'm invicible" issue going on. I've seen it quite a few times being in high school. I certainly won't be pulling off crazy $hit like that...the pics alone are just...wow...

While this is sad, I have a couple of questions.

1.) Why did this 18 year old have access to a Porsche 911 (why not keep the freaking keys hidden)?

2.) Why was she passing on the right at 100mph? Going around and passing on the right is dumb enough, but doing it at 100mph was just plain stupid.

3.) Why was she doing all this near a toll booth?

I'm not exactly innocent when it comes to going 100mph, but I'm going to do it on a pretty much empty highway or state road. When you're doing 100 near a toll booth, you're not only putting yourself in danger, you're putting everyone elses life around you in danger. I say it's a good thing she was the ONLY one to lose her life. It could have been a lot worse.

I drive that toll road everyday, was wondering why that booth was all taped off a while back. Dayam.

2.) yes that is pretty stupid

3.)i dont know

you know .. this actually makes me think twice about how i used to drive 2 years ago when i was 18.

I have to admit, though I don't pass on the right and go 100mph in traffic, I actually drive a bit more recklessly than I did when I was 18. I know my car a lot better than I would have back then, but I still need to watch it a bit.

Im a porsche tech by trade. and im amazed by the fact that the transmission was completely ripped off the engine. also the car being a cabriolet dosent help. maybe she would still have her head if it was a coupe and the side impact airbags deployed but doubtfull.
Where do you work? One of my best friends is a Porsche tech at The Collection in Miami.

In the last 7 years, none. I did stupid stuff when I was a kid, we all did. But that is not an excuse for abdicating the behavior.

Im glad i don't drive the way i use to in my boosted integra, man i was a ****ing idiot and I would never drive like that again. Too bad for the girl though, I don't think anyone should ever get hurt real bad or die..... Maybe she was having problems and didn't know how to control it and she acted out in a not very smart way. Sometimes people don't know how to talk about there problems or tell someone when they have a problem. I hope nothing like this ever happens to anyone in my family. RIP

she supposivly stole the car from her dad, and dad had called it in stolen, knowin that his daughter took it...which makes me guess that they had some big fight at home. which made her go and got drunk, decided to take it out on dad by stealin the porsche, then dad trys to teah her a lesson and let her get arrested......then this happens.

and yea....we've all driven stupid in our young days, some of us still do. but im pretty sure that most of us understand the consequences of our own actions if we were to fuk up...so if anything its our own fault. and im sure the girl knew that it was a bad idea to drive daddys porsche that fast while drunk....but sometimes emotions get the best of people....

i used to work at a mortuary and compared to what i've seen, this is still something people who can't stomach these graphic pictures, shouldn't see it.

what really happened?we may never know except for the details given to us.

at least you didn't have to see this happen to a girl, who just turned 9.daddy wanted to take princess for a motorcycle ride.

this story reminds me too much of what happend to my best friend, exept he took his dads car ,even though he had no licence, off an off ramp at 80mph into a wall as a result of racing on the freeway. i thnk it was a mix of stupidity and not knowing the limit of the car. i didnt find out untill 3 weeks later when i came back from my 6week say over the summer at uc berkeley
