Okay everyone, here is the plan....We have a room at the University of Central Florida's student union reserved (Key West Ballroom) at 12p-3p on Sat 2/26/05

As far as the Benegans thing later that night... it is still right now undetermined.

Pauls family will be at UCF to meet everyone and say some good words.

After UCF, I am leaving options open.... we can always hang out at enjuku racing and talk for a bit, ken has confirmed that. Otherwise we can do something else... and possibly catch dinner too somewhere.

Then after dinnertime, I am hoping for the Benegans thing, but if that falls through, usually we go to University and Alafaya (right across from UCF) for the current meets.... I dont think that will be a problem if we do that saturday night.

Now for directions......

There are many ways to get to UCF, I will include a link for mapquest, then you can print your own directions from wherever you are coming from. What I recommend.....

From Orlando International Airport:Go east on 528 (Toll Road) to 417 north (Toll Road) to University Blvd. Exit east onto University Blvd towards UCF. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.

From Sanford Airport:Lake Mary Blvd to 417 south (Toll Road) to University Blvd. Exit east onto University Blvd towards UCF. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.

From Daytona Beach on I-4:I-4 to 417 south (Toll Road) to University Blvd. Exit east onto University Blvd towards UCF. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.

From Tampa on I-4:Exit 28 onto 528 east (Toll Road). Go past Orlando International Airport to 417 north. Take 417 north (Toll Road) to University Blvd. Exit east onto University Blvd towards UCF. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.

Going North on Florida Turnpike:Exit 254 (Orlando south - 441). Take first right onto 528 east (Toll Road). Go past Orlando International Airport to 417 north (Toll Road). Take 417 north to University Blvd. Exit east onto University Blvd towards UCF. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.

Going South on Florida Turnpike:Exit 265 onto 408 east (Toll Road). Go east through Orlando to merge with 417. Take 417 north (Toll Road) to University Blvd. Exit east onto University Blvd towards UCF. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.

From Melbourne / Vero / West Palm Beach:I-95 to 520 to Colonial Dr west (Hwy 50) then right on Alafaya Tr (434). Go to the third (I think) stoplight and make a right on University Dr. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.OR I-95 to 528 west (Toll Road) to 417 north (Toll Road) to University Blvd. Exit east onto University Blvd towards UCF. Continue strait then you will arrive at UCF.

This is a map of campus.... just in the middle of the circle, is the student union... it is a 4 story building that is right behind the library when coming in from the front. The Key west ballroom is on the 2nd floor.http://campusmap.ucf.edu/print...t.pdf

Directions to Student Union for Visitors and GuestsParking near Student Union:• At University Blvd. – enter UCF and turn left on Gemini Blvd.• Turn right at traffic signal at Centaurus Drive• Turn right at stop sign• Park in Centaurus Lot or West Parking Garage• Parking is free on the weekends

Walking to Student Union:• Walk toward Burnett Honors College (low, one-story building, beyond and in-between Visual Arts Building and Colburn Hall)• Walk past Burnett Honors College, along the walkway to the right of the building• The Student Union is at the end of this walkway (big 4 story building)

This is unspeakably tragic...It's so clear what a huge impact Paul made on so many people's lives! I never knew or talked to Paul, but I remember his screen name from archived threads I've read, and I remember being struck by his patience and readiness to help anyone out. My heart goes out to his family and friends, and to you Lauren!

I feel awful - it's been nearly a month since Paul's passing and I just now discovered the terrible news. I'm shaking my head in disbelief.

I have to confess that I didn't know Paul personally and in our limited exchanges, we constantly clashed - knocking heads over everything from politics to brake upgrades.

Paul was a cowboy of the skies - a man whose infectious, unbridled passion commanded a sense of awe and respect amongst friends and "opponents" alike. Everytime I browsed over one of his posts, I'd either be reeling from the energy exploding from his words or laughing hysterically at his unique brand of humor.

It was evident that Paul was a man who lived life on his own terms even til his final moments. He died doing what he loved and that's something I aspire to do in my own life.

I feel like going on, racking my brain in lavishing this man with the most elegant arrangement of words but if Paul were here, he'd probably issue me a severe smackdown, tell me to cut the sappy verbiage and cut to the chase. lol NICO has lost one it's cornerstones.

Paul, ride on brother!

I just saw this thread.Ive heard lots about Paul, but never had the chance to meet him. He definitely accomplished a lot at his age, both as a pilot and in the Nissan commuinty.

As a fellow NICO member, my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Those are awesome Shawn.

Wanted to let you guys know that, in building our "Meet The Staff" page, we have reserved a permanent space in the Moderator list for Paul.

Shawn, perhaps you could get with Torry and help draft a biography for Paul's staff page on NICO?

Can you contact Mike if we can use his pic as an illustration of Paul in the Moderator Meet the Staff Biography section?
