Traffic Icon on Nav

Hey all, I just got a 2014 Q50 recently. I could have sworn that the car didn't come with XM radio or traffic info. Today when I went out with the car, I noticed the black traffic icon appearing on the Nav screen. I don't remember it being there before. Is there anyway to disable that icon? or is there even a point to it being on the screen? Does it go away when there isn't any traffic nearby? I'm just wondering how it works, because I don't think I had it when I bought the car and now it magically appeared. Also, is there anyway to get rid of it?

I get similar and it will actually show some traffic flow, but I don't have XM NavTraffic so it's limited....I simply use Waze and it's been great. Anyway, have you turned it all off via Settings / Navigation / Traffic Info Settings ?
