Trading my '94 J30T for a Q?

Hello all, although I've been an Infiniti J30T owner for many years, this is my very first post ( I found this forumn by accident an registered!)

I would like some feedback from fellow J30 owners as well as Q45 owners.

Currently I own a '94 Infiniti J30T with 93000 miles. My family is growing and I need some more room. I'm considering trading it in for either a '96 Q45 or a '97 Q45 with similiar miles. Which one would be a better buy? Which one would I enjoy more coming from a J30?

Or should I just keep my J30T and add a used larger vehicle to my family or maybe trade it in for a '97 Qx4?

I appreciate any feedback from Infiniti owners.

I don't think there is that much more room in the Q, than the J.

When I go on long trips, I take the I30, because there is more room in the back, and I can flip the seat down, for extra large trunk space.

Keep the J, and buy a used QX4. (My opinion)

Q45 back seat in 90-96 is very limited. 97-01 was a different car altogether, with more legroom for the kids.

Jeff's idea is great - If you can't keep the J, don't trade it in. Sell it on our B/S/T forum so it gets a good home (and so YOU don't get screwed on the price).

Yeah..... Once (or if) I sell the Q.... Its going to a NICO member.....

I dont know about if the 97 has much more room, but it has to...... The Q has as much rear legroom as our 02 GTP..... Sad, but true......

I personally wouldnt get the 96.... OBDII, and it is probably the lamest (performing) VH45DE.....
