I'd like to see that. When I had my S60R with ~400bhp, I would've accepted any of your challenges (straight, drag, lap, circuit, etc).

Just like you can't say that "any rim will fit on the coupe."

Once you get your turbo (IF you get it), you will have what...418hp...that should even it out. Then we'll see...

LoL! I did say that hahaha, but its true lol, with the right tools, adapters and fab skills, you can almost fit any rim on the coupe

and it's 448HP! not 418!

Not sure why everyone is at everyone else's throat today, maybe its the bad weather. Anyway.. the guy wants an rx-8. Have fun and enjoy it for as long as it lasts nad hopefully it lasts you a long time. Shift_2.5s.. ur right.. power isn't everything but people can turn around and say gas mileage and practicality isn't everything. Just look at people driving 800 horsepower supras. And Mcheddadi.. some people don't care if a car can go 0-84351 in under 5 seconds.. it's not something that makes much of a difference. Can't we all just enjoy what we've been blessed iwth? I mean look at people who drive these hoopties around because they can't afford anything better. Be happy and thankful for what you have.. and calm down. Its just an engine and 4 wheels in a damn sexy body.

I think Shift_Perfection said it best. Just be thankful for what you have. That doesn't mean recommending a turbo in every post and reminding us that the A/C goes 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. But above all, just enjoy the car for what it is. That's the main purpose of this forum - to maximize enjoyment and knowledge/awareness regarding the coupe and related facets.

LOL! yes a coupe would smoke an RX-8. there is only one reason to get an RX8 over an Altima coupe...

The only reason ones trades in for an RX8 is to have RWD, and drift. If its because of something else then FAIL! because the Altima is faster, lighter and more agile.

I've been here longer than you, and every news or new product about the altima coupe I post as soon as I find. I'm an enthusiast ok? so cut me some slack

mcheddadi i just wanted to point out that the turbo kit ISN'T pushing 448 horsepower! it's pushing 448 WHEEL horse power. from what i've heard, you lose 15% to 20% converting from hp to whp so that would put it at around 550 horsepower. or at least i think thats right, according to the guy that talked to Artistan it was 448 Whp.

why is it that when talking power everyone that owns a car/truck always seems to find a rating that gives them the best time/G's etc... that came from a professional that has no regard for the real reason that we buy a vehicle like Nissan Yoda etc and that is quality and reliability, . Have any of you ( younger drivers ) had a car at the track and dupilacted the time results on a regular basis and then kept the car for many years of trouble free driving ? There is always exceptions to the norm. , . enuff ranting here ( on my part ) , I wish that when ppl talk the power talk that they would back it with real life experiences and not what the Proffessionals are doing . Want to impress go out drive the car come back and tell us then that yeah I beat a wrx or a ford lighting beat me ( not likely to happen ) lol but then and only then does the Power number game mean anything . not yet with my coupe only have had it for 2 weeks and since i have gotten we have gotten 2 feet of snow ( cant wait ) . but if you want me to back up what i am triing to get across i can will and have in other forums like this one . ie Titan talk for example they have a section that is devoted to racing . I have raced a friend at work wrx vs. my titan I held my own with him up till 8okm/h after that that car was gone . next day brought out the 04 maxima . and the only place that he had a chance was 40-60 km/h ohter than that that race was all mine ! That is what I am triing to say . REAL WORLD/LIFE RESULTS
