I'm just now starting to think about this for some reason. I want to know if it would be a good idea to trade my 2010 Altima Coupe 2.5s for a 370Z? I want to do this before I start dumping money into my car with mods. I KBB priced my car at $20,250 trade in value.

Should I do it, or no?

Why did you buy a 4 seater 4cyl FWD when you really want a 6cyl RWD 2 seater?

This. If the AC is paid off and you can afford the Z and its what you really want, yes you should do it.

Lol commando? And I've thought about doing the same trade but all the Z's on LI look the same. Love having a car that stands out.

Do it. i test drove one a month ago. Since it is a track car and the A/C is not, i plan on buying one here pretty soon, but still have my A/C for a commuter. I just have to save up another few grand so i can afford it.

Okay so there isn't a single 370Z in the state of kansas, which means any dealership I go to has to order it to be delivered. Will the price be hard to negotiate since there isn't one on the lot? Do you think I can pay invoice price?

Will someone tell me if my logic is logical lol

-Trade in my Altima for $20,000. subtract $10,000 from what I owe.
-I have $10,000 to go towards the 370Z at $33,000(?)(sport package) which leaves me at 23,000.
-Then I have an $8,500 cash downpayment. Now it's down to $14,500 which will be financed.
Does this logic make sense, am I missing something, and what price can I get for a 2011 or 2010 370Z MT w/ sport package?

correct 18500 will go towards your Z and your principal will be 33 - 18.5 spanned over contract period
How much is your contractual interest ?

Know your facts : price of the vehicle when you go in & which dealer moves the most vehicles in a year as they can go lower
- you find out about packages from the car salesman, you do business with his sales manager / supervisor
- be strong and do not show excitement
- always calculate overall sum when they put numbers in your face
- lowball / get dealers to fight for your dollars by visiting most / all in your area and showing them what number you got from other and finding out if they ''can do better'
- before you are ready to sign, request a demo for a day / weekend to see if it's what you really want. Good luck saving money, i was lucky and got 18%

"I think" the only real reasons to like the Altima Coupe more is because it has rear seats (Real cramped rear seats), It's new as of 08(It will get old and everyone will have one), Gas mileage (your still tuning it bringing the MPG down albeit not by much).

Lol sorry I still think the Z is better. To each his own.

I believe the 2nd gen AC is coming in the year 2013(@ 14 months), why not wait and see if you like it. There will probably be many improvements and new designs. Z's will always be around, and though they look bad a$$, I will keep my AC because it was the first year it came out. :gotme

I don't want to wait because the value of my car will only decrease.
I doubt any significant changes will be made to the 2013 model. Unless you know some inside information...

Look what happened to the Maxima, drastic changes inside and out. Every 5 years or so there is a change, and I believe Altimas will go through what Maximas just went through.

Good point! I noticed that a while ago. I'm always reminded about the Skylines when I see the old headlights of Maximas/Altimas.
