Traded the 2008 Rogue

And picked up a 2011.

The 2008 Rogue was a great car and never had any problems. It had just over 36,000 miles on it when I took it to the dealer today. I traded it in for a 2011 SL (Pearl White) with the 18" wheels, Navigation system, Bluetooth, black leather seats, moon roof, heated seats/mirrors and HID headlights. The dealer gave me a lifetime power train warranty.

I bought it for my wife for Christmas. I didn't tell her I was buying it and when I brought it home I let her walk right past it. She didn't even notice it was a new car. The old was Phantom white. Once I opened the door though, she new something was different. She's not very observant.

I got a pretty good deal and the trade was decent, especially considering the scratches and dent on the passenger fender. I picked a fight with a bus and lost. The damage was minor though.

Merry Christmas, Etch...our 08 SL AWD Rogue is still running flawlessly with 56K miles on it. Got our new Hankook tires at 52K and they work great in the snow and rain. Since we have only 26 more payments on this car we plan on keeping it another 2 years and beyond. We also have a 2011 Subaru Forester....another great car, eats up snow well....I can't wait until I put the Hankooks on this one too.

Glad to hear the Rogue is still running good. We had planned on keeping the 08, but really liked the new features of the 2011. The new Rogue has 18" wheels and Dunlop tires, which seem to be a lot better than the Continentals. The car drives a lot better than the 08. The transmission seems to be programmed differently and the ride is much smoother.

I traded my 08 sl for 11 too. Not bad for the price. I didn't want to trade it in but the demands for used rogues are good. Plus they gave me my asking for the new and the trade.
