So I ended up trading in my 2011 Infiniti M37 for a 2018 Infiniti Q70 Hybrid Luxe 2 days ago. The modding starts today, tinting the windows this afternoon and have ordered the Infiniti sport mufflers as well. My old ride was lowered on eibachs and I was wondering if all the springs sets available for the other Q70’s work for the hybrid model as well? Oh yeah, hermosa blue with tan interior and she is QUICK!!!!

Congrats on the new ride! I'd be hesitant to say the spring sets would work, just due to the weight differences between the 37 and the hybrid. I would think the increased weight would warrant a different spring tension. Great choice on color too - love Hermosa blue. Let's see some pictures!!!!

Congrats. I'm liking my 18 as well. Once you get the sport exhaust...can you do a before and after vid? I'm thinking about it but there is only one vid on YouTube and its so short so you can't really get a feel for the real sound.

Do you notice a large difference in power between the two?

Thanks everybody. I’ll take some before and after videos to see the difference between the stock and sport mufflers. I doubt there’s going to be a huge difference sound wise but F’ it, I’ll do it anyway. Lol. I’ll have to figure out how to post pics and videos on here.

I contacted BC Racing this morning since they’re here in central FL and they said they can customize a set of coilovers for the hybrid Q70. Might be going that route instead of just springs this time around.

As far as difference in power from the standard 3.7 V-6 to the hybrid, I would say the hybrid is a bit quicker than my previous 2011 M37 and it was tuned. Is it a night and day difference? No but my new hybrid is still faster. Again my previous M37 was tuned to have 312 hp to the wheels and the hybrid still whips it bone stock. This thing impressed me, that’s why I pulled the trigger on it. No tuning or cat back exhausts on my new one, just throwing the sport muffler with some K&N drop in filters and rolling out.

Key difference that I noticed right off the jump is that the lag and throttle response issues we all complained about are practically nonexistent on this hybrid model.

stm37– what’s up with that lol???

Here is Armybrats M56 with the sport mufflers. It sounds really good in person and I have a video on my phone of both of our cars revving.
