Thanks everybody. I’ll take some before and after videos to see the difference between the stock and sport mufflers. I doubt there’s going to be a huge difference sound wise but F’ it, I’ll do it anyway. Lol. I’ll have to figure out how to post pics and videos on here.
I contacted BC Racing this morning since they’re here in central FL and they said they can customize a set of coilovers for the hybrid Q70. Might be going that route instead of just springs this time around.
As far as difference in power from the standard 3.7 V-6 to the hybrid, I would say the hybrid is a bit quicker than my previous 2011 M37 and it was tuned. Is it a night and day difference? No but my new hybrid is still faster. Again my previous M37 was tuned to have 312 hp to the wheels and the hybrid still whips it bone stock. This thing impressed me, that’s why I pulled the trigger on it. No tuning or cat back exhausts on my new one, just throwing the sport muffler with some K&N drop in filters and rolling out.
Key difference that I noticed right off the jump is that the lag and throttle response issues we all complained about are practically nonexistent on this hybrid model.
stm37– what’s up with that lol???
