Well, my 2005 g35x is gone but I finally took possession of my new G37x Coupe. I Live on Cape Cod and although it was the best time to buy price-wise it was the worst time to buy a brand new car. I got it Tuesday and we had a major snow storm Wednesday with messy roads the last few days. I have tried to keep her in the garage as much as possible and now am looking forward to the spring more than ever.

These cars just drive fantastic and it is quite an improvement in a number of ways over my g35x. The prefer the steering feel and there is a little throatier engine tune and of course 50 more HP and 2 more gears is great also. I prefer the feel of the shifter, the new wood, and can't get over all the electronics. I'm still reading the manuals!

Stats: 2011 G37x Coupe, Moonlight White with Wheat interior with Navigation and interior accent package & splash guards.

I would insert an image but can't figure out how!

You have to post links to a image from a picture hosting site like photobucket...

Nice trade btw...I did a similar swap myself a year ago ;)

I do love the new designs of the 2011 Infiniti G model. I was at my dealership last week to have an oil change done and was able to lurk around the dealership floor and caught a glimpse of the new 2011 models. Aside from the beautiful G, the new M37 really caught my eye! The truly changed the model from the previous years, it is now much more curvaceous and presidential.

So, how does the extra two gears help when it comes to gas mileage? Have you found that the gas mileage in your new G37 to be less than, more than, or equal to that of your previous G35? Depending on your answer, I too may look more into upgrading my G35 for the new G37. With the gas prices constantly rising these days and my hour long commute each day, I need to find ways to save some money!

PS: I too am having some issues with posting images on this board. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all!

The New G37 is great! The steering feel and handling feels much improved to me although I do prefer lighter steering at low speed and I know that is not for everyone. The shifter, manual shifting and sport mode is much better in my mind. The wood trim is a touch I really like and is rare. Will have to wait for spring to really test it out. I'll try posting a couple pics asap. I think the mileage is a little better but not dramatically by any means but it does run less RPM's on the highway.

Yes I have to say I really liked by 2005 but I love the G37. I know that new car afterglow will wear off after awhile but this is my first new car in many many years so I'm going to try to keep it perfect as long as possible!

BTW The best decision I have made so far was buying the rubber floor mats. We are supposed to get another 6 inches tonight!

Congratulations on the update...very nice. If it wasn't for having 3 kids (11,13,15) I would get the coupe too.
I hope you get rid of the dealer badging and plate frame soon...unless they want to pay you to advertise for them...that's just my opinion though.

Enjoy!

HAHA. I already ordered the Infinity plates and received them by mail this week. Having the windows tinted Friday which I think will look great with the White exterior.
