Hey everyone,

I'm new here, I bought a brand new hummer H3 last september and just traded it in on friday for a brand new white altima coupe. I lost a TON of money on the trade-in, but the guilt about getting 12-16 MPG was eating me alive! I was spending like $60 a week in gas. I'd been in love with the infiniti G35 FOREVER, and was going to get one instead of my hummer, but they're all too old or out of my price range. I went to the nissan dealership a week ago and completely thought the coupe was the G35, i was so pumped. So far i LOVE the car, it's so sexy and getting 28 MPG makes me feel all tingly inside! haha. i don't think i'm going to do much to it, just tint the windows, get black rims and a new grill and i'll be happy.

welcome to nico and like adk said, good luck on trying not to mod. this site offers too much not to jump on the bandwagon. group buys from stillen, exhaust vids, pics galore, dyno stats, ect...if you spend any time in here you will mod my friend. it's inevitable.

LOL...Same here but I had a FJ Cruiser that at best saw 15MPG on the highway. I was dropping about $120 a week running premium. Sold that gas pig and bought the coupe and never looked back since. Sure sometimes when I see an FJ, I wished I still had it but then reality hits and I'm glad I bought the coupe. Besides, it way more fun to drive!

BTW..Welcome to the forum!

It sounds like alot of us traded in gas guzzlersfor our coupes. But I had a gas guzzling car. I had an 06 STi but I was gettin like 13-15 mpg. And I commute back and forth to school so I had to get rid of it. Congrats on your new buy. I just got mne a month ago myself.

haah I was getting 12-14mpg in my 02 ram quad cab which is why i decided I needed something better in gas which is why I bought a 2.5 coupe I do wish I had the power of the 3.5 but trust me I went from spending about 200 bux every 2 weeks in gas to maybe 80 bux a month in gas and thats fine by me. I do feel sorry for my truck though it just sits there in the driveway sad cuz I never drive it. hahaha

congrats on the car Im sure youll be happy with it. I love mine just need to get some more parts for it!

So far i'm loving the coupe, i drive about 15 miles on the highway to work everyday, i do that 2x a day so about 60 highway miles a day, yesterday morning i got 30-37.5 MPG going to work! Otherwise it's really high up there in the 27-28, which is AMAZING compared to the hummer i just got rid of. I LOVE YOU COUPE
