Anyone have any clue or know what the trade in value would be? I might leave the versa world and head into the pathfinder life, only because I have 2 kids and once the car seats are in and the double stoller in the back there is ZERO room.

Im an authorized rep for nextel ,and a nissan salesmen came in to buy a phone. I sort of talked to him and told him that I have the SL CVT Onyx Blue model. I was told they would be willing to work out a great deal because they cant keep them on the lot (versas).

However , a car salesmen will say anythin to get you into the dealership. so if anyknow knows It would help alot. Thank you for your time!

That's really up to the dealer to decide. The car is so new that places like KBB won't even have a listing for used ones. You can't find any on AutoTrader yet because no one's trying to sell. So it's one of those things that will be up in the air. If you financed the car, don't even think about selling the car unless you put down a decent sized down payment. You're going to be upside down in your loan and you don't want to transfer what you still owe to your new vehicle. It's just a snowball effect. You could always try to sell your car, rather than trade in. You won't have to worry about someone trying to make a profit off of you.

I agree. Selling it on your own is always a good move. The only advantage trade-wise is that your sales tax is lower based on the difference between the buy and trade prices.

I'm going to third that thought. You will probably get the best deal through a private party sale.
