if it's in good shape, runs well, and you like it, go for it. most people here are going to say not to do it, but what can you expect, it's a 240 forum.

Id take a 240 over a crapstang any day. But trying to be open minded here. It looks to be you already have 2 other types of 240sxs and this kouki would top off your collection. But at the same time if you dont want a bunch of the same cars and want veriety then it depends. I mean do you want a track car to drift or a car that works sometimes and drives fast in straight lines?

Personally for me id get the kouki sell one of your 240sxs and put that cash to making the kouki even sicker

when did a kouki enter the decision?

also, the ford 5.0 was a pretty stout motor. if this supercharged engine and the op's ka-t started off in the same conditions, were built to the same quality, and were treated the same, i can guarantee you the reliability of each of them will be very similar. those old 5.0's aren't bad cars, they just behave differently from 240's.

bnsil80, join a mustang forum and get their opinion as well. i can guarantee you they will all say to lose the s-chassis. problem is, you're asking for opinions on a highly biased forum. do some research on the mustang, get all the info you can from the owner and make a decision that will make you smile in the end.

Reread up top didnt realize he said kouki tails as far as your 5.0 opinion goes I agree he should hop in that forum as well and just go for pros and cons. Like i said before though i personally hate fords. My experience..my opinion.

What I wanna know, is why people ask for answers on a question that can only be answered by the op.Its your car...you make the choice. Noone here knows the condition of either car, so why would you ask us?? Research, and make the choice for yourself.Btw......it a Crustang, you shouldnt even question it.

im going to have to throw in my two cents now, i think ive had to work on my 240 more than our pile off shiieet 5.0 91 mustang GT and we did a full resto on that.

The mustangs from that era have alot of quarks, window motors go bad, heater cores blow holes in them, weather stripping on the car succckkkksksss they leak real bad, ESPECIALLY the convertibles, the ride is real rough, the rear end in them, if they sit to long, start knocking, fuel pumps run down, and the auto transmission in those thing don't last to long. other than that the motors are great they hold out real good. and last long time its definitely a 200,000 mile motor.

but liek you said it has a supercharger who know how well the install was done, was the motor built with the correct internals before hand? or was just a slap on thing. i imagine it was, but why would he want your 240? r, unless this things got some downs to it that he knows about. he spent alot of money in that more than your car.

could you post some pics of the car for sale on this forum i can teven look at the other one si got to make an account.

I have both a 88 5.0 lx and a 91 240. I daily drove the mustang for four years without any problems. IDK it's a hard decision. BTW you can't see those mustang pics unless you're a member. In the end it's whatever you want.

Hmmm, what are you going use it for? Also I wouldn't take anyone's opinion that hasn't drove a mustang, or knows a thing about them serious either.

i wouldnt trade your 240sx for that mustang.......1. zip ties holding the radiator up.2. looks like a bolt on supercharger and not built properly3. you dont know the PROBLEMS with the mustang.4. why is he really selling it?5. your 240sx is pretty clean6. mustang is a v8 and supercharger will get horrible gas mileage. need i say more?honestly you never know but i would stick with your car because you know all the problems with it and have more than likely put ur heart n soul in it....so why sell it?

Sick S14 mang, I would highly consider keeping the S14 over the Mustang man and not only that you have the Ka boosted ftw!!
