Not to be mean but thank god for clients like you AG. If the dealer says it it must be true. This is the dealers job to make you think that you are getting more money to make you feel good. When you add after market this you limit the amount of potential clients who would want it. Something like rims seems safe but unless it is a RWD car nobody cares. On top of it they might not have the same taste as you in rims. The dealer wants this car to be as simple to sell as possible and thinks like radio however minor do not help. It makes it seem like a kid owned the car before. Would you want a kids car? Any dealer would tell you that you would get more money but think about it.

Why would they? They're not operating a charity. They are having enough trouble selling new cars... laying off 20,000 workers.
