OK,So, I've got the itch to trade one of the sedans for a coupe. They've got an 05 auto w/prem & sport pkg with 26K in new condition. So, I was thinking of trading in mine with 47K miles and we owe less. But, they have some left over 07's that my wifie likes the seats better in, which would mean we would need to trade her's (17K miles) with bigger payment. And, they just got in 5 new G37's one of which is BLACK!!!!Haven't driven one yet, wonder how they drive compared to the prior years. I was surprised that I preferred my sedan over the new 07 sedans. Wonder if it would be the same deal with the coupes.....My wife says I'm never satisfied with our cars. I am, I'm just always looking...Rambling with car fever, I know...... Anybody else got the symptons???

Once you drive it you'll be sold to that. Also I love the new interior. I do't know about you. The exterior I love both the older and the newer style. But the interior is much improvement. And the driving experience. It does feel a lot faster then the old ones.

LOL... doo-eeeeeettt

Personally, I preferred my 05 over my 07.. so, I would look at that. I personally haven't test driven a G37 yest. I've now seen them in person and IMHO... I'm just not "blown away" I much prefer the look of the G35, but, the G37 interior is nice. I think I'm gonna wait it out and see what else Infiniti comes up with in the next couple years and not jump on the G37 right now.

I say go for the 05...GREAT car

Buy my coupe!

BTW how much are you thinking of selling the sedan for?? I might be in the market for a sedan.. maybe you could do a trade of sorts.

just swap the difference in price.

If you want to save money, buy an 05 coupe...I love mine! I mean you already have 2 sedans....I hear ya about the trade fever, I was tempted to get a vette again. The no rear seat is a huge hurdle to overcome! I'm happy I didn't...put the MREV2 and Stillen exhaust and now I'm happy! FI is next though....

I have test driven 2004 and 2005 6MT coupes that were pretty well loaded and an automatic G37 with everything but four-wheel-steering. Those drives led me to order a G37 6MT with premium and navigation packages.

In magazine road tests, a consistent comment about the G35 has been that it is a great bargain but not as refined as the BMW 330 which was its contemporary and competitor. The G37 is significantly better in this regard. Infiniti's engineers have worked hard to reduce NVH (noise, vibration and harshness). The G37 is slightly faster than the G35. When cruising, there is less engine and road noise inside. At full throttle and high RPM, the engine sounds sweeter and smoother, but still snarls nicely.

If you are looking for a bargain, a used G35 coupe will serve you well. In the absence of the G37, I would have bought the 2004 coupe since it had only 4k miles and still looked like a new car. If you can afford a G37, it is the better car.

I went to the show today. Cirque du Soleil. Infiniti sponsoring them and there was a red g37 with 2 guys from infiniti Canada. I talked to them a bit and they told me it is a same engine block with the 07 sedan just bored out to the size. ( I guess it can be in the sedan no problem). Also he says most likely this engine is going to be in the GT-R with a TT. He says he's seen the GT-R with the 8 piston brakes. he was standing right beside it. I don't know if they were full of sh_t or what. I just wanted to let you know guys. Also sorry for the hijacking.

is there any reason to stick with AT? Is it because it is for DD traffic etc?

I'm getting ready to trade mine in this week. 05 sedan with 23700 miles.what do you guys think its worth?I too thought I wanted another Automatic, But I drove a stick today for the first time since I got rid of my 911 13 years ago. I had so much fun driving a stick again. the new clutches have hardly any hard pedal at all.I'm leaving the Import fold for now and looking at a Roush Mustang.427 supercharged ponies under the hood. My G was a good ride though and wish you all the best. I enjoyed this site... just don't let the youngsters take it over completely.

Yes! Want an auto as my DD. Still have the cobra with a Steeda short throw 5 speed for banging gears.

gjim0535,While I was looking at trading, the dealer offered me $22K for our G35 with 17K miles, sunroof, XM, and spash guards. I would assume they are going to offer a little bit over KBB trade-in.

And you are getting a mustang?!?! Only red necks and trailer trash drive those things! YOU are officially BANNED!!!

(kidding aside, you must post some pics!!!!) What color are you leaning toward?

My Past Mustangs (69 Mach, 98 GT Convert, 97 Cobra)
