Anyone trade up to a new Murano? I have the opportunity to get a super deal on a leftover '11 SL AWD. If you have, how do you like the Murano?

It really isn't a fair comparison, the Murano is a much higher end vehicle, it is larger and a lot more expensive. The Rogue will beat the Murano in fuel efficiency by a wide margin, and the smaller size of the Rogue is a bonus to those who drive in heavy traffic as it will be more manueouverable and easy to park. But beyond that, the Murano is more powerful, more refined, quieter with significantly more sound deadening measures.

That being said I've always felt that the Murano is one of the more over-priced vehicles on the Canadian market, especially considering it does not offer a 3rd row seat option like major competitors do. But, if you want a more luxurious vehicle and the price is right, go for it, the Murano is definately a very nice ride and I especially like the styling after the refresh in 2010 I believe it was. You may want to check out the Murano forum to get a more opinions, most Rogue owners will be of little help with a Murano purchase decison!

Thanks, I also posted in the Murano forum. There is a local dealer that has 3 leftover 2011 SL AWD models with a few options that can be had for under $32k USD.

Well we made the deal today. Couldn't pass up the offer on a leftover 2011 Murano LE in tinted bronze exterior and charcoal leather interior with all options but nav. Dealer gave us $12k for our 08 Rogue with 86,000 miles. Pics to come.

In other news, I also picked up a new 2012 Dodge Power Wagon this week after trading my 05 Power Wagon with 18k miles on it.

True, the Murano here in Canada was quite expensive. It was priced the same as competing luxury models like the Lexus RX350... around $40K CDN. However, Nissan dropped the price recently and introduced a base S model for $34K.
