92 49 state Q, original owner, 130k. Since this car has been new I have periodically had the traction and slip lights come on, stay on for several days and then go off again. UNFORTUNATELY it would never demonstrate this malfunction to the dealer while it was under warranty, and yes it feels as if the TCS is turned off when this occurs. Well, I didn't have you guys back then but I do now. So they are on again as of today, anybody know why this happens and the potential fix?

My '93 did the exact same thing and it was a relay underneath the battery that TEMPORARILY fixed the problem. When it did it again a few mos. later...they replaced the TCS motor under warranty.

Just replace BOTH relays under the battery tray. When I had the same problem, I replaced the TCS relay under the tray and it fixed the problem. However, the other relay failed a month later. My advice, go ahead and replace both while you are at it. They only cost about $12 from Joe T..........
