I never really heard how well these things function, and i've been thinking about getting them. Can someone inform me? I searched it but didn't get too much detail on them. Traction rods vs Front strut brace :gotme

I haven't found much info on them either, went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Racingline traction rods though. Hopefully, the few folks that have reviewed them are correct and I won't be disappointed. Have the racingline front strut brace already so hopefully it will add to the handling.

I have the rear sway bar, and i'm mostly wondering if I would get better gains with the rods or brace combines with the bar

Thanks! That write up was really great. I do have one question though, why does it look like the front end of your car is so high up in that pic?

I'm on stock suspension, haven't been able to lower it. glad you got something out of the write-up :)! racing line was having it for sale for black friday, shoulda jumped on it. But you will like it, makes a big difference driving, also just put on the FSB and the two together are even better.

every performance mod has come from them for me as well, I plan to get everything. Just bought their front end links because they were on sale, after that are the rears and rear swaybar. Good stuff

Finally got the traction rod installed and I'm not disappointed. After the install the car seems to sit a little higher in the front, not sure if its my imagination though.

Have any more people purchased these? There doesn't seem to be a lot of talk about them. Based on what I have read they seem like a great mod and only cost $190. Anyone know of any other downsides to these (besides lowering ground clearance and possibly rubbing power steering line)? I can't figure out why more people don't have them. Regardless, I just ordered a set - should be getting them in about a week.

I got the traction rods after I already had the sway bar, strut bar, RL end links, and on springs. The traction rods do loose a bit of clearance but it's way much better when it comes to cornering. Seems like it grips the road even more each time I take a hard turn.

The install was really pretty easy - but the directions are piss poor. I would scan and post mine for you, but I accidentally threw them away (sorry). There have been a couple of write ups, one is linked in this thread, and the other is viewtopic.php?f=245&t=537637&view=unread#unread

A link would be helpful

Import rollers instructions are dead on except to how to bolt the traction rods together
