If your at the track, turn it off...otherwise leave it on.

The only time I turn mine off is when I need turn around at an intersection. Love to make the rear squirm a bit. It has saved my butt a few times

As others have stated, it depends on your goal. If you're racing and aggressively driving-- OFF! If commuting to and from work and around town- ON! I have never raced mine and see safety as my #1 goal (aside from getting places), so the VDC is always on.

My 06 6speed Sedan I drive it with it on but when i feel like having fun i turn it off... Love to Drift around corners (jsut paved the roads in Down Town St. Pete where i Live lol)

IN this new loaner 07 base auto sedan i got... I have it off all the time. I will have the loaner for two weeks and i think it will need new tires when it goes back in.

LOL

+ I will agree with the man.. I personally have only turned it off once and you could tell the difference right away.. just be careful when you turn it off and dont turn it off when there ppl with you

The only thing I don't like with having it on, is how abrupt it brakes if any wheelspin is detected. I wish they had 2-3 modes, like the new GT-R or other marks, to make it less apparent.

I agree, my friend worked at a high end dealer and he was always messing with AMGs. In an SLK AMG He said with the traction control on, it would do a perfect launch (it would let the tires chirp a little and just keep them from full out spinning).

I leave it on unless I feel like drifting.. tonight for example it rained and I went out to get milk.. I drifted the whole left turn when the arrow went green.

I'm glad there were no PoPos around.

We had snow, sleet, rain, and ice yesterday. With plenty of slush on the Garden State Parkway in central New Jersey my G35 did just fine in my 50 mile commute home.IMHO the 6 speed handles much better than the G35X in heavy rain or snow.
