traction control relay.

Hey dudes,. Tim here,..(don't think i've ever actually introduced myself),. i've been trying to find a traction control relay for my Q,. but the problem is,. none of the parts stores that i've called even list a traction control relay,. do i have to go to the dealer??,. the clost dealer is like 3 hours away!,. and winter is already here! we just got 2 inches of snow,. and my beloved Q motionless,..i dont' even WANT to drive it in this mess,. but i have no other choice!,..i'm gonna get some good snow radials put on,. and some sand bags,..how much wieght should i use??,..anywaz,. where can i get a relay??,.and what are the chances of it even being the relay??

well,. i'm not 100% sure it's the relay,.i don't know how to do any test,..is there any signs to look for??,. my slip and tcs lights are always on.

sounds like the relay. I have just replaced mine because of the same symptoms. I got a new one from NAPA auto parts. I\The relay is located at the right hand side of the battery tray. There are 2 identical relays there and the TCS one is the rearmost one of the two.

any ideas on how to get the darn thing off??,. it's stuck,. and there is NO room to fit my fingers under it...

Yes it was very tight on mine too. It basically slides on to a thin metal bracket and the only way I could get mine off was to insert a small flat bladed screw driver and force one of the plastic tabs on the relay to break off. I wasn't concerned about doing this because I had decided to fit a new one. This made removal very easy. The new one just slides on without problems

By the way I assume you have removed the battery?
