first off it's a 1994,alright, well i was on a little weekend vacation about 250 miles away from home, or about 4 hours away, and i got in my car and cranked it over and looked at the dash and the

"traction control off" and"slip"

lights were one, usually it's only one or the other if the TCS is off then the TCS off light comes on( just push a button to turn it on or off, daily driving i drive with it off) and if the TCS is on and your in icy conditions and the wheels sleep the "slip" light comes on, but now they're both stationary ON and i can't turn the TCS on or off, any ideas?

Malfunction. Possibly relays. I could be wrong but I believe the traction system diagnostic box is in the trunk next to your gas tank behind rear seat panel. Somebody please correct me if I'm incorrect. peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat!

Were you able to resolve the SLIP an traction control problem? Both SLIP, VDC off, ABS lights are on and I'm not sure what is wrong with it.

Many have had this issue when the alternator is bad, myself included. Check that out. SLIP and TCS OFF alone indicate a problem in the TCS system, if the ABS light is on as well, seems to indicate other issues. Several of us have had bad alternators when those lights all came on.

The three lights are like the three fingered salute; ALT-CTL-DEL

It's time to reboot your alternator.

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be one of the relays on the ABS controll module (black rectangular box on top of the ABS actuator) - engine compartment, passenger side, close to the firewall. In my case, the relay was just buzzing; I hit it (lightly) and it stoped. After I shut the engine off and on again, the lights went off.
