My traction bar (torsion) broke a while back on my 2001 Pathfinder and no one I used has had any idea of what they were doing in regards to either working on it or installing it. I hated to go to the dealer, yea we all know why! But maybe I should have. My Pathfinder almost throws me off the road at times, especially at speeds above 60 or so. Thought maybe I'd have a go at it myself if someone can enlighten me to what everyone else is missing? If not well then I will have to head; well we all know where... It almost makes me think of those roll-over days of Ford back in the late 90's.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're referring to. Do you possibly mean a sway bar?

Sorry its been awhile but life gets that way. Yes its the sway bar, thye one in the rear (only one, huh!) as I've said its fine until I get over 60 or 70. Right now I'm trying to get back on the road as I would be happy to just get tossed around instead of being idle. Thanks for any help you can give.

Inspect your trailing arm bushings. They are a common cause of vibration/shimmy from the rear.
