hey sr20 and Power Mind. If you're interested in extra track time, ACNA (Audi) is looking for instructors for their 9/20-9/21 Shenandoah event.I'll be there.

I'm gonna try to make some schedule changes to make the TrackDaze Shenandoah event as well. Trackdaze events are fun.

I cant do both monday and tuesday for that event, just monday at best, and most groups dont allow instructors to attend just for one day. If this is doable let me know, [email protected].

The eventmaster sent a broadcast out to the regular instructor crew threatening to cancel it if he can't get enough volunteers. I'm not sure how serious his threat was. ACNA has only done one other event on Shenandoah, so the pool of member instructors with seat time on that circuit is small compared to Summit Main.

If you're interested, I'd be very happy to hook you up with him.

you mean he wants more volunteers to help instruct? I do have experience there once as a student and once as an instructor. Most of my time is on main like the others, but i have done weekends on Shenendoah.

if he does in fact want another instructor have him email me [email protected].

I just emailed him. If you hear from him, his name is Matt Hull. Thanks!

bubba, i sent in my instructor application to the three required people and havnt heard a response in 5 days, so i feel it is safe to say i havnt been accepted and i will not be at the event. I may come down and say hi in person, usually that helps me present myselk better than an email anyways. Let me knwo what you will be driing so i can find you and introduce myself.

I'm sorry. I didn’t see this until today, I had left for the event Friday from work. Would have been awesome to meet you in person. I drive a mostly stock red 350Z with stoptechs, with a unique looking 30’ long GMC “beavertail” car carrier.

I’ll follow up with those guys. They seemed to have enough instructors this time as the turnout was modest. I found out Saturday morning that PCA had rented the Jefferson circuit the same weekend which made several the regular Porsche instructors who do ACNA disappear. Kinda odd, I think if most were given the choice to instruct on either Shenandoah or Jefferson, they'd do Shenandoah.

There were two other Nissans representing. A ITE 350z race car, and a sweet modified 300zx TT (original owner). Nicely set up for the track.

I’ll be posting some pics as soon as I unpack.

The event was great, even tho i only had the 240 out for one day of the event. Well organized, great bunch of guys in charge of the event. My student was eager to learn, responded well to instructions made loads of improvements.

Expect to see the black #4 240 at more of your events next year.
