I took my 89 stock auto coupe out ot the track tonight. All i have is muffler. I have 16" chrome neepers which slow me down and alot of dyno mat in trunk but i took out spare tire and jack. Anyways i ran a 17.15 and 17.2 consistantly. It was fun i cut a .512 and a .521 reaction times in the bracket racing but ended up running under in second run. The track started to get slick and i was spinning like crazy off the line.

THe only bad thing that happened that night was when i staged the anouncer goes, hey here we got a, what is that? a mitsu oh no it must be a Honda  I wasnt to happy. Oh then i drove though some gravel in the pits so i wanted to clear my tires and the guy lined me up as front wheel drive. These people need to get out more. Well just thought i would share my track times for people wondering what stock times are.

Sounds like you had a good time! Nice r/t's btw. You should really go to some Kosei's or some other lightweight and you'd drop a tenth or two just from that! Neepers are for cruisers man! LOL.

rule #1: chrome wheel = chrome peel.

i agree about dropping the bling in favor of some more up to date designs, most of which are lighter.
