I went out to test the new setup. For those of you who don't know:
old setup: Revhard unported, T04B
New setup: Groundzero manifold, T3/T04E 50trim w/.63ar
I am running 2 psi less on the new setup. Tonight I was touching 10psi, but it was exceptionally cold tonight. Usually its at 9psi.
On the second run, I pulled 1% fuel from 4000rpm on.
These timeslips only included 1/4 ET and 1/4 trap speed. My track featured a 60's series race which means NO amber bulbs, stage and then GREEN. Needless to say, it wasn't much of a "test and tune" night NTM street cars were poo-ons all night.
1st run:
[email protected]
Notes: Launched okay by feel. Pretty sure I was spinning a little. Second gear I slipped the clutch way too long in order to keep from spinning. I obviously overdid that and ended up shortshifting to 3rd. I also shifted into 5th which was also a mistake.
2nd run:
[email protected]
Notes: Launched like it was my first time ever drag racing.lol Spun first way too long(I'm glad they didn't include a 60' here). I then missed second. After that, I drove it pretty well(not too hard from here.lol) I didn't shift to 5th this time, so I now know that 5th isn't required yet.
I won both races. First was a restored chevelle. Beat him hole-shot. Second was some old school vert. No idea what kind of car. But he pulled me off the line, and when I missed second. When I hit third, I began to gain on him and right before the line, I passed him pretty fast.
All in all, a decent night.
