Beautiful day out today, almost 60 degrees and everyone and their sister headed to the track today. Well long story short, waited almost 2 hours in traffic to get into the plex, then another hour to get through tech. But enough of that, here is the specs and times....

Overall, VERY pleased with the performance right now. I am a bit rusty on dragging since I haven't done it in almost 2 years since I got rid of my Honda's and that shows with the inconsistancy in the numbers. I am positive that 13's are only an LSD and good tires away. And I am sure I can do that on a stock exhaust.

Hopefully if all goes well this spring, I should be knocking on 12's with the new turbo, injectors, MAF, and additional tuning.

There ya guys go.... we can be very quick for little cash!

Joe

Nice times man. Our setups are somewhat alike so I probably run near the same times.

That's encouraging...we have almost the exact same setup, except I have the stock actuator, blitz DD BOV, subframe spacers, and a J30 VLSD. Nice runs :)

Sounds good to me, Joe. Seems like you have somewhat of a grasp on launching your car because your worst '60ft time is inline with my best. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing your car get into the 12 second hall of fame.

Sweet!! 98 mph on a CA. My friend just trapped 101 on his SR with the same bolts ons minus FMIC.

So the T28 would put it side by side with that SR or faster.

If tuned correctly you should be in the ballpark of about 400whp @ or around 25psi of boost (if not less) and at the same time if you know how to launch your car, you should be seeing 12s with no problems with 11s following closely. Quote »TIAL 38mm Wastegate with 8bar spring[/quote] You may want to correct that to an 8lb spring because 8 bar is absurd. You also may want to concentrate on your suspension because without a good suspension, all that power goes to waste in the form of wheelspin and this I experience myself. Why didn't you at least get the cams reground? This is where the most crucial part of your performance will be.

When I copied the text it didnt show up correctly, it was supposed to be a .8bar spring, not 8 bar, lol.

I would LOVE to get the cams reground but I honestly dont have the cash right now. I'll be going away to college in the fall and I need to save some. It was just bad planning on my part. I wish I would've focused more on the suspension and a quick spooling set-up but we'll see what I think when the ***** runs, lol. Wanna spot me some cams for a lil while, Dee? ;) :D

The only extra cams I have are (intake) 276 with a 11.35mm lift and (exhaust) 268 with 11.25mm lift. Your head will have to be machined and I don't think your hydraulic lifters can keep up with these cams.

damn. i'm gonna have to get this thing tuned too but I honestly dont know where to go. Most places near me are few and far between and most only know how to put b16s and **** in honduhs. any chance I could tune it without blowing it to pieces?

If you ordered a microtec from australia and specified that it was for a ca18det, it should already have some sort of start-up program in there.

lol, your right doh.

joe, isnt the internet just mindboggling. lol.

they are on a server in which a local board was using to post pictures of their trip to edgewater . i had a feeling yours would be in there since there are a few 240 guys on there one of which i think took the pictures.

if i was there i would have called you up or met up with yah to see the improvements .

Very nice trap speeds on just ~11psi. Especially with the pea-shooter 240 exhaust. You open that car up a little and it'll see 100+mph easy. Get an LSD and cut some 2.0s, you'll see 13s in no time with a mostly stock CA.
