I looked over the website. It's a proposal for a gigantic entertainmant mega complex of which motorsports is one aspect. The race track is a "3/4 mile "Nascar" type of oval, which implies banked turns, but it's way too small for much beyond ARCA or a "Richard Petty" driving experience they're also talking ATV courses, a drag strip, Supercross. They also want a concert/Amphitheater, Camp Grounds, go-Kart tracks, a museum, big mallrestaurants, all in this one complex. You're talking about a hundreds of acres of some very expensive real estate.

Before rushing to sign a petition to change half of Long Island into an entertainment complex because the word "race track" or "NASCAR"appears on it, might want to think about who's gonna pay for it. And we're not talking just buildings and tracks, but infrastruture. A long Island resident may not be as thrilled as you to see his/her taxes rise dramatically in order for you to watch an ARCA race twice per year near home. I don't see it passing, sorry.
