What do you expect? Rays stuff is insanely expensive. I love their stuff, but not for that kinda money. It is pretty awesome that their stuff weighs so little also, but, poor kids like me can't dish out 1k bucks for just ONE WHEEL.

What lug pattern are the Altima's? I thought the QR Altimas were 114x4? no?

im not too sure, i asked a while ago with no positive answer, i was however told that all the nissan 5lug were the same lug pattern, however when i saw the wheels on ebay (got very interested b/c they were $15oo brand new with tires 95% tread) it said it fits 35oZ and infiniti G35, so i dunno if they have different patters or not

i know, i looked and saw that as well, $15oo for wheels and tires with 95% tread left, not bad for some Rays lightweight wheels

Well I'm sure that the 350Z lug pattern is the same as the V6 Altima. Perhaps I should say, "does the QR Altima have 4 or 5 lug wheels?"

'02-up Altima and Maxima have 5-4.5 bolt pattern. 66.06 hub bore...used on most all Nissans...so far the wheels will fit....

I'll have to find the numbers on the 350Z, but the main issue for a clean, proper looking fitment will of course be offset. Altima/Maxima wheels are high offset, intended for FWD. As a general rule, RWD wheels on FWD sticks out too far(layman's terms here). This may not be the case here, but I'll see what I can dig up.

OK, for the 350z offset

Standard 17" front: +30rear: +33

Touring 18"front: +30rear: +30

Track 18"front: +30rear: +33

info courtesy of 350zmotoring. Tons of good info on that site.

By the way, the reason the rear wheels have a slightly higher offset is because they are compensating for the 0.5" wider rear wheels in those models. The 3mm extra offset makes the rear wheels rest a bit further "in", so that the rim and tire are in the same relationhip to the fender.

This, and usually a larger tire size in the rear, means that you cannot do a front-back tire rotations, and if you get unidirectional tires, you cannot do side-to-side either! So tire wear can be a bit more uneven - wheel alighment needs to be done more often to prevent having to buy tires more often!

thanks a lot for the information, i happened to find that same site but didnt post the info yet, haha ,thanks for doin all hte homework tho man, its greatly appreciated, and thanks SZHOSAIN, i appreciate your help as well, and EZCHEESE, yes the altimas are 5lug, and i have thought about the tire rotation, and honestly i was thinking to maybe (although i know itll be a harder find) to buy 4 front wheels from the track model, that way i could rotate them easier (or 4 rears for that matter), what do yall think about that one?,it seems to easy to do, i think i skipped over something but i can't think of it?

Oh, yes, getting four fronts or four rears is definitely a better idea in that case. This will make for easier tire rotation - with unidirectional tires, you could still do front-back rotation. However, I have no idea if either 30mm or 33mm is correct for an Altima - somebody else will have to elaborate on that!

FWIW, it also depends a lot on the stock rim size, whether you have enough fender space for the new widths, the location of the suspension components relative to the tire, etc., etc.

The point is that while it is possible to do certain changes (i.e., increases) to wheel/tire widths, at some extreme point, you would have to do fender or suspension changes to accomodate! This starts to get unwieldy then, and could also affect your car's handling or tire longevity. You might try calling Tirerack.com and talk to one of their sales folks. They should be able to give you specific info on the Altima as to what is reasonably possible and what is not.

well ive seen 2o' dodge ram wheels on altimas around here (2.5s) so i know i can fit huge wheels, so i know its atleast possible, i mite need spaces, which i'd hate to get, but if i get fronts, they're only 8' wide, which isnt insane, the stock 3.5se comes with 7's or 7.5s i believe, so it shuold be feasable

Agreed! If the stock wheels are 7" or 7.5", then the 8" ones should fit pretty easily. If the offset is close enough too, then I'd say go for it. :)
