Tron 2 announced, light cycles ftw! I'm not sure how many of you saw the first, but I can still remember seeing it in the theater over 20 years ago. With Jeff Bridges returning and rumors of Pixar doing the CGI, this could be an absolutley amazing film.

yes

basic summary: Jeff Bridges/Flynn wrote a program called Clu (dude on the yellow light cycle) and it somehow becomes corrupt. I'm not sure if their tying the Tron 2.0 pc game into the movie but that had a similar plotline only with Alan's (Bruce Boxleitner) son.

i just watched this a couple hours ago.

i was excited by it, i havent seen the original since i was like 5 though so i dont remember much of the plot or how it relates to this one. could be cool and you can tell the sound was really well-done even from the shtty bootleg.

Updated trailer for Tron Legacy

Heres the one that was released last summer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AwvuirSEAA

And the one that is previewed before Alice in Wonderland this past Friday

http://www.program-glitch-esc.net/

Tron in 3D scored by Daft Punk

I cannot wait for this to come out, I was such a fan of the original, between this and the Prince of Persia, Disney seems to be getting back to making good action movies.

Tron Guy... He came out to a screening at a local midnight movie- mental note: sitting in the 3rd row for a movie like Tron is a bad idea. Movie is awesome and I'm looking forward to the new one. Especially with this:

Why do people put numbers and symbols in place of A and 0 and think it works?
