TPS voltage what should it be?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

all right so this is whats up, I changed my tps sensor and measured voltage and it is constanly at 5 volts! is this right? I was told that you should move it to were it is at .5 volts at idle and should go up to 5 volts as the throttle is opened this new tps sensor is at a constant 5 volts no matter which way I move it! (Im talking about the sensor not the throttle) if you guys have any info about this that would be cool!! thanks Roger Larson

are you sure you're measuring across the right terminals?

yeah Im pretty sure im measing the right terminals! its the black wire (ground) and I believe the other is red? (power) there is a third wire that is in between these wires I think it leads to the pcm? not sure though! I will take a look at it again tonight thanks for the help!

oops! I just saw it on that chart a few posts up I need to measure at groun and the ecu wire! (the middle wire) I will check it and let you know!!
