could you describe a little more in-depth what your car is doing?

hard for car to start, gotta keeep thje key turned when it sounds like it wants to start, i gotta push the gas and hold it otherwise it ill die on me. when driving, the car its ok but when i stop, it goes down to 500 on the RPM and then goes up to almost 2k on the RPM. weird, i was told it was the TPS so we'll see. car seems to bog out often as well.

Well, I had similar problems that ended up being my tps being mis-adjusted. I didnt have a hard start problem, but when I came to a stop id would jump from 500 rpm to 2k. I suppose that if your tps is bad you could have all of these problems as well. My problems all started after I replaced my tps and didnt get it adjusted properly. It needs to be set at around 0.5v warmed up at an idle. BUT the tricky part is that there is a switch inside the tps that needs to be closed too. If this switch isnt closed it will cause it to tach up to about 2k rpm at a stop. So if you adjust the tps and it does that then you need to back off (lower voltage reading) very slowly until the idle stabilizes. Hope this helps,

Phil
