TPS sensor

how do i know if my TPS senor is bad.i washed my engine bay out the night before this happened.so it might have gotten too wet.how do i check for this.it sputters when you give it gas and only when the car is warmed up.i dont have a voltage meter.

get an fsm. this has been covered in a million searches. and you especially need things spoon fed to you apparently. thats why you ahvent had any responces yet.

the resistance between two of the terminals should go from 2k-10k going from closed to open throttle. if youre on the wrong terminals, the resistence values will be opposite. you shoudl alos get between 0-5 volts.

again check your FSM>

i have one and its not very good.i dont have anything to check the voltage with douche bag, thats why im asking beileve me i have researched it.i took it off anyway and im getting a new senor tommorrow so i hope thats it.

you cant check a TPS without a multimeter, how the **** did you think you were gonna do it? shove the harness up your *** and feel for a 5 volt sting?

and im finishing my first manifold tonight, i want it running tomorrow. its gonna ahve to be JB welded intially, but then im ripping it back apart to TIG it once i decide which plenum i wanna use. thanks or asking neverlift.
