tps question

i have a 91 240sx and it use to have an automatic transmission are the tps sensors different between auto and manual trannies and if they are i think i have an automatic transmission tps

Manual transes have a 3 wire TPS. Auto transes use a 6 wire TPS. The additional 3 wires are for a switch that says the throttle is open or closed.

ok well i have 3 wires that go to the tps so obviuosly they changed the sensor but i think its shot when i come to a stop my car stalls after idling at 200rpms for about 5 seconds

TPSes typically don't do that. They give stumbling issues when you're accelerating.

I would inspect the IACV and make sure it's set correctly. You also might want to try cleaning it out as well.

I'm assuming this is a stock KA motor?

the iacv is bad its stuck open i tried cleaning it out and that didn't work yes the motor its self is stock but i have an intake and full exhaust
