i have adjusted my tps to about .45V closed and everytime i sweep past .2v i hear a click... whats it turning on?

also if the TPS is adjusted to .45V engine will never idle down and idles at 2200rpm cold?? any ideas on what the deal is? right when it clicks it idles higher then when i back the other way sub .2V it idles normal... but ihave been getting part throttle studders and i think its the tps it does it on very very light tip in..

i do have q45 tb and yes the fast idle thing is removed

where does the click come from? my throttle pulley was rubbing up against the fuse box awhile ago, simple brain fart problem, but easy and worth checking.

Check the connections where the tps clips to the harness. My rb25 did the same. The click is the solinoid thats to the left of the front cover. its supposed to click on once you crack the thorttle body open a little. If the tps is set wrong that solinoid will create a fast idle.

well in the manual it says to set the TPS at .40Volts and i cant get anywhere near that before it clicks and goes to a high idle...

im thinking that my part throttle hesitation is cause from my TPS voltage being so off... but if i set it correctly it idles funny....

i have No cel and it seems to run decent

I also noticed that my coil pack harness has no gound wire that goes to the firewall... anyone have a picture of that??

I have the exact problem to the T.... If you find any solution please let me know... the only thing i've noticed is that if I disconnect the aiv it has no affect at all..what about yours. my next step is to replace the tps then the aiv..

well today i started the car and listend to it idle and started messing with it again trying to figure out this issue.. i started looking into grounds etc and rechecking misc things... everything checks out... i got the sudden erge to disconnect the O2 sensor... and lone behold the thing idles super smooth now, and the part throttle hesitation is COMPLETLY gone... it runs great without it hooked up.. i will be replacing this thing ASAP

Here is something else i took the car upto my old work... they have a consult interface from PLMS and i noticed that when i connected it to there computer the ignition timing was jumping around like mad inbetween 5-15 degrees... i dont see that happening when i have a timing light on the crank pulley... it idles solid... anyone know whats thats about?

my car didnt idle crazy high... but it was about 1700 rpm(cold)... now that it idles properly when warm i was able to screw in the idle adjustment screw a turn or so which lowered the idle when hot and cold... this is what i have been experiencing... weird the ecu hasnt coded for the o2 sensor being disconnected yet.... no cel and it didnt pick it up when connected to the plms software

i did have a code 21 stored i reset the ecu and it hadnt come back... i assumed it was from me trying to start the car without the ignitor plugged it
