i am having some idleing issues so i decided to check the voltage on the tps and its reading 12.1 volts going in, is that right?i thought they were only supposed to be 5v. its also idling at 9.6 and as soon as i open the throttle a little goes to 12.1. the other wire goes to zero the i open the throttle WTF.

SHould be 5v. If its 9.6 at idle the ECU is seeing the max at WOT (ie 5v)Check the TPS supply from the ECU.

Are you sure you're probing the TPS and not the trottle switch?TPS is the wires that come out of the sensor, not the plug on end. From memory the power is Y/B, gnd is B/L and R/L is signal back to pin 48 on ECU

sounds like you're probing the throttle switch..
