tps problem

hey guys im new here n just picked up an sr swapped 240sx n love it!'

been reading the forum for a while so i thought id consult the "pros" haha

i have vsome frayed out wires on my tps (dont even know if its functioning) and my car is bouncing the idle between 700 and 2000rpm

could this be the source of the idle issue? any imput would be great...

also i need power steering hoses, i am pretty sure they come from the 91-94 dohc ka? correct me if im wrong

Rough idle wouldnt normally be supported by the idle position sensor, try cleaning out the idle air control valve with brake cleaner, and see if that helps. and power steering hoses should just be from the actual car, depending on the engine..
