I have a 2001.5 infinity QX4. I have a extreme hesitation problem around the 1500 rpm mark. The car dose not seem to shift right. 2-3 shift flare. I have had the motor and transmission replaced with jdm motor still dose the same thing is happening as before.
I have replaced the tps sensor and the ecu 3x now it makes no difference. I have replaced the transmission control model 3x makes no difference.
I can disconnect the plug shown in the picture it is a brown plug. The hesitation will go away and the car shifts just fine. Only problem is the car will NOT downshift if this plug is disconnected.
Could someone please post up a wiring diagram or some idea's on what to try? its a 3.5L motor.
I also have replaced the mass air flow meter with no sensor.

Have you scanned for any codes? Limp mode restricts power and rpm to around 3k rpm, but runs rough starting at 2k rpm. In limp mode it affects shifting, reving up, then shifting abruptly. Anyway, I'd think there be codes pending or logged for your issues.

Where did you get your TPS sensor? When I had my 99.5 i replaced it with an autozone one (I think duralast) and still had issues. Shelled out the cash for the OEM Nissan one and everything was fine.
