I'd have to check the FSM about which wires are which, but I can say the following.
You won't notice a whole lot difference without a TPS in most driving conditions. My was busted for quite some time without me knowing. The major difference is the ECU doesn't know the load on the motor, and you can see some erratic timing at high RPMs. Basically what happens is that the ECU knows it's under load because of high RPM, but it doesn't know how hard your hitting the throttle. It can (will?) also stay in open-loop mode where it constantly is reading MAF/O2 readings to control the motor instead of MAF/Load. At least I'm pretty sure about all that... lol
