1997 240sx which has undergone auto -> manual conversion

Alright my car has been running fine and today while I was going down the highway I got a CEL. I flashed it and it blinked 5 long times, 10 short which I'm guessing is 510. according to the FSM that is the Throttle position switch. What could be causing this and where is the switch located? I'm going to college in 2 days and it would be great if I could get this sorted out before then. Also, if I can't get it fixed before then is it alright to drive the car?

do you mean throttle poisitoin sensor? thats next to the throttle body...two connectors and the top one is the TPS i beleive.
