ok so last night my TPMS light came on so i went and put air but didn't have little thing to check the PSI. light went off. then in the morning the light came back on. i finally got the PSI checker thing and got it to the right PSI but the light wont turn off. i even drove around and got the car up to 50 MPH and it still wont turn off. in the book it says that if it flashes that means you have an issue with the TPMS and right now it's flashing (never flashed before) and it says to take it to Nissan. so i'm going to take it to Nissan tomorrow.

BUT do you think they would try and say some BS about voiding my warranty or anything because of my Electronic Exhaust cut0out before the cat?

No. They have to prove that anything you did to the car directly affected the failed part. If they have no proof, they can't hold a warranty claim against you.

They won't even probably look there either - you're going for a tire issue - that's it. Should only take a couple minutes to figure out.

Not a chance Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, you are covered, how in the hell could an exhaust mess up TPMS? If your dealer gives you any crap kindly remind them of the Magnuson-Moss Waranty Act of 1975, and reminder them that it is a FEDERAL LAW

Thats because they have no idea what they are talking about. F them, talk to the service manager and tell them its bs if they blame the electronic cut-out. Those people at the dealerships are just trying to save money these days because of the economy. Don't listen to their ****.

I just had an issue with my TPMS light, not sure what the temperature is there but here when the temperature dropped my light came on.... so in the manual it said to fill tires to the "cold recommendation" which on my tires is 32 psi.... light didnt go off but nissan told me the TPMS is finicky in freezing weather and to put 35 psi into them and yes my light went off.....just throwing that out there, mine however didnt flash.

i just picked up my car now. i didn't really read the papers about what they did but it was free and they turned the light off...... it's been cold lately over here but keep in mind that in Sacramento our hot days are like 110 or 115 degrees so our cold days arnt too cold..... its been about 50 degrees lately (45 to 60 degrees the past couple weeks).

wow 50 degrees on a cold day. Do you west coasters know that they make long pants and long sleeve shirts, or is that just a myth to you

Believe me, 50 degrees is chilly when you live in 90 degrees all the time. I spent my whole life in VA, and I feel chilly when it gets 50 here.

Mine's on all the time now too... because I wasn't gonna pay $260 for TPMS stems in my winter rims!
