How do I know if my couple has it or not?

Thank you in advance.

I think all altima coupes have the TPMS standard. I guess if you want to test it you can release some air out of a tire and see of the light on your dash turns on.

On another note, for those that have upgraded their rims and tires with either new TPM's installed or didn't install them at all, how did you go about resetting the computer so it recognizes the new sensors, or how did you go about disabling the light on the dash?I saw this item for sale http://www.usatoolwarehouse.co....html does anybody know if this will work? The reason I ask this is becasue i plan on purchasing a new set of tires, rims, and sensors from tire rack and using the stock wheels for the winter. I don't want to have that light nagging me with the new wheels on.

Yeah, I think they all come with TPMS standard.

As far as the light is concerned, I just deal with it. I didn't swap out to my new wheels so I got that little yellow light on all the time. At first, it bothered me, but now I don't even notice it. I actually use it to my advantage. When cold starting, I use the one minute blinking light to warm up my car. When the light goes solid, I put her into drive Hey, since it's there, at least I found a use for that light

stereoca, I've never seen that tool before. Great link! Maybe someone with experience with this tool can give us some info and details.

All 2008 models come with a TPMS. I don't know if that will work because you need a Consult III to program the monitors.
