I installed aftermarket rims with factory TPMS but all I am getting is ** on the screen. Do I need to reset anything?

I believe you need to have an Infiniti Service Dept. reset the TPMS system. I don't think you can do it yourself.

You must reset them with the Consolt system at the dealership...

USUALLY when just taken out of your rims and put into new ones they should work...

What type of rims did you put on? Are you sure they actually put the tire pressure sensor into your new wheels? If they are a multi piece wheel, the TPMS do not work in them...

I bought the sensors myself from the dealership. I installed TIS 07 rims 20 X 8.5 with NItto 555 245/35/20 tires.

If you just swapped the sensors they should have worked without resetting them. Since you replaced them you will need to have them reset.

dealer should charge you $50 bucks... should take about a half our in and out...

quick easy thing to do...

some dealers will do it if you are having a service done at the same time (not just an oil change but a "service") or a warranty repair of some kind...
