TPMS sensor

I am planning to buy a set of wheels and use my TMPS sensor from the factory wheels to the new wheels. Do nissan needs to recalibrate the TPMS sensor for the new wheels? Am I going to have the TPMS warning lights ON in the dashboard even I have my TPMS sensor from the factory wheels? ANy help would much be appreciated.

if you are using the same sensors from your stock tires...no nissan does not need to recal..35...the place u are having the tires done can do the replacement...but there is labor..they have to take down your stockies...pull the sensors...install them and mount your new tires...then re valve and mount and rebalance your old wheels so you can have em for winter tires......rebalance cause the sensors are no longer in the tires,,,

i went this route instead...i ordered a set from discounttire....they are awesome...with sensors already instaled...put the wheels on then took the car to nissan and had the sensors relearned...was something like 45-50 bucks....its literally a 10-15 min operation...when u put ur stockies on for the winter...just live with the light for the season....it aint that bad...it really didnt bother me!

Well, thanks for the input grystrm. I'm not gonna put my stockies back no more because I'm living here in sunshine state Florida lol. anyhow, what wheels did you get?
