Just picked up an '08 G35xS for the wife. I know wheels from past G's can fit as far as bolt pattern etc. I am looking to put together a setup for winter wheels. Not sure if I can get away with 17's or if I need to do 18's. Either way I was wondering if there were changes between model years on TPMS sensors? I don't want to end up with the wrong set of sensors. As far as rubber I am looking to do Bridgestone LM60's.
Also on a side note, has anyone tried to knock out the fake grills on the lower half of the bumpers and do a brake ventilation setup? Might be one of the first major mods once I get the snow tires done. That and some SS lines and doing a full fluid flush to Super Blue DOT 4 fluid.
http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/accessor ... .jsp?ID=21 I use this stuff in my A8L and it survived traversing the western united states with ease. The G will never see a track but any place where you can improve stopping distances, pad and rotor life is always a good mod in my book. That and its probably due for a full fluid flush anyway.
