TPMS sensor question and brake cooling....

Just picked up an '08 G35xS for the wife. I know wheels from past G's can fit as far as bolt pattern etc. I am looking to put together a setup for winter wheels. Not sure if I can get away with 17's or if I need to do 18's. Either way I was wondering if there were changes between model years on TPMS sensors? I don't want to end up with the wrong set of sensors. As far as rubber I am looking to do Bridgestone LM60's.

Also on a side note, has anyone tried to knock out the fake grills on the lower half of the bumpers and do a brake ventilation setup? Might be one of the first major mods once I get the snow tires done. That and some SS lines and doing a full fluid flush to Super Blue DOT 4 fluid.http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/accessor ... .jsp?ID=21 I use this stuff in my A8L and it survived traversing the western united states with ease. The G will never see a track but any place where you can improve stopping distances, pad and rotor life is always a good mod in my book. That and its probably due for a full fluid flush anyway.

I have not seen anyone improve air flow to the brakes like that. It might be easier to go from the bottom.

This strikes me as one of those things that someone would have done to their G by now.

I was trying to try a similar set up on my 07 G35X sedan. I checked tire rack for the sensors for the various year vehicles. I definitely had found that the sensors for a M35 wouldn't work for the 07.
