At a tire shop- the system is not it learn mode, the pressures do display properly, just happens to be an issue at start up - after the car has sat for more than 5 or six hours. This morning same thing happened, tpms light flashed three or four times and the hazard lights flashed twice, Drove 20 to 30 feet and all was well. The car is scheduled for a service tomorrow at my nissan dealer and will ask them to check it out.atlM35 wrote:Where did you get your tires/sensors replaced?
I had a sensor replaced and the system was left in learn mode. Had to go back and it was turned off and no flashing again.
Which site in particular? Thanksmerlinq2 wrote:atlM35 wrote:

I think I got them from alliance automotive- I have a box in the car- will pull them out and have a look at them, they seem to work fines except for the annoying start up light show.atlM35 wrote:That's what I was experiencing. Everything was normal, including the pressure readings, except for the flashing lights at startup.
These are the sensors that I purchased:

Great answer - thanks for the info- very helpfulAltered wrote:Those sensors probably force the BCM into a learn mode when you start the car. The OEM ones are programmed and stay that way unless changes are made to them or the BCM, but these aftermarket ones seem to force their codes into the BCM, which activates the Hazards when it learns new sensors. I think you'll have to to live with it, or have the dealer install OEM ones.
